620 Film Respooling Kit
620 film is no longer manufactured. The most practical solution is to respool 120 film onto 620 spools in a darkroom — and this kit provides everything you need to do that. Built around the 620 spool format used by many classic vintage cameras.
Kit Compatibility
- Film format: 620 roll film
- Spool: 620 spool only — narrower than 120/220, not interchangeable
- Backing paper: 120/620 shared backing paper
- Black canister: 120/220/620 shared black plastic canister

Compatible Cameras
This kit is designed for cameras that originally used 620 film, including: Kodak Medalist I & II, Kodak Tourist, Kodak Monitor, Kodak Vigilant, Ansco Speedex, Voigtländer Bessa, and other 620-format vintage cameras.
Important Format Note
620 film uses its own spool. A standard 120/220 spool is not a direct substitute — it is wider and will not fit 620 cameras. The backing paper is shared with 120, but the spool must be the 620 version. For 120 film respooling, see the 120 Film Respooling Kit.
